PPI has an immediate need for Maintenance Technicians to provide general mechanical/electrical support to the Rigby, ID manufacturing facility and equipment used to process and package potato-based products. Maintenance Tech’s are responsible for timely repair and preventative maintenance of plant equipment including troubleshooting, reading/interpreting mechanical and electrical manuals, repairing mechanical/electrical equipment, and working effectively with production, quality control, and wastewater treatment personnel.
Shifts are 4 days/week from either Noon to Midnight or Midnight to Noon with the opportunity to earn substantial overtime including double-time on Sundays and holidays. Starting pay rate is $14 – $16 DOE (depending on experience).
Various positions are available for line Operators in various areas of the plant including raw material processing, ingredients blending, and finish goods processing and packaging. Each Operator reports to a production supervisor, supervises a team of production workers, and works hand-in-hand with Quality Control and Maintenance personnel to meet production and safety schedules and requirements. Operators are responsible meeting production schedules, completing paperwork on a timely basis, and keeping production areas clean and safe.
Shifts are 4 days/week from either Noon to Midnight or Midnight to Noon with the opportunity to earn substantial overtime including double-time on Sundays and holidays. Starting pay rate is $11 – $13 DOE (depending on experience).
PPI has ongoing needs for entry level and experienced Production Workers to support Operators in producing processed potato products at PPI’s Rigby, ID plant. Needs are for full-time Production Workers on a year-around permanent basis with occasional need for seasonal workers.
Shifts are 4 days/week from either Noon to Midnight or Midnight to Noon with the opportunity to earn substantial overtime including double-time on Sundays and holidays. Starting pay rate is $9.00 – $11.00 DOE (depending on experience).
PPI has ongoing needs for Forklift Operators at its Rigby, ID plant to load and unload freight in an efficient and safe manner. Responsibilities include clearing pallets of finished product, transporting product to storage areas, stacking and storing product, maintaining security of the facility, and conducting all activities with safety as a critical priority.
Shifts are 4 days/week from either Noon to Midnight or Midnight to Noon with the opportunity to earn substantial overtime including double-time on Sundays and holidays. Starting pay rate is $10.00 – $12.00 DOE (depending on experience).
Quality Control Technicians work along side production and transportation staff to ensure that products produced by PPI are safe and meet quality standards for taste, texture, and shelf stability with it’s refrigerated and frozen potato products. QC Techs test for various bacteria, perform regularly scheduled and special inspections, check weights and temperatures, and make certain that product tags are correct among other duties. They work closely with production and maintenance personnel to ensure that PPI is producing, packaging, and shipping the best possible products.
